Hmm..just curiuos and speculating

what will happen to skytracer...Even better yet..what will happen to ogo taiki...this great plugin..should replace skytracer,if it were to get an update with drasticly improved speed..and better easier setups,I wonder if itīs still under development..otherwise Newtek maybe can make a deal and continue the devolopment for ogo taiki...it would be a shame if it just fades away.

On the other hand....Ozone 3 is coming up for lightwave with a new spectral atmosphere model...and volumetric clouds aswell...and e-on states that it still will render fast...just have to see this in action.....
anyone seen it at sigraph?

Taiki still is in development, and the latest private beta is much faster than the currently available public release version, especially on multithreaded systems. LW9's perspective camera also is faster slightly than before.... So i've been doing renders all night...
Viper is still slow though... Eeek! If FPrime supported Taiki, it would be the coolest thing ever! :) Taiki can still be slow, and it will be for quite some time, but the results are excellent.
But Taiki is in development, and it's cheap and works well.

So personally i hope Skygen3, is more like C4D's Skymodule, including OGL viewport skies.
I used to love Ozone, but i've since grown up..... :)

Likewise, I just assumed all development on Taiki and Hikari had stopped.

Ditto!

I think those two plugins are some of the BEST I've purchased. Quality.
