here is my rough sketch for this month:

it will be my first time doing the challenge.

She is a demon of some sort, and it is her job to protect the other demons from the gods in this realm. The extrusions on her shoulders are bony and sharp, and she uses them as both a weapon and for defense.

Let me know what you guys think, I'm going to start blocking it out tomorrow.

I like the bat like face, and the long and lanky figure, but I think super large wings would really bring out this character.

Darkelfv-- I've been toying with the idea of wings on her, but I keep erasing them because I don't want her to be too cliche.

I'm still thinking about it though

Nazgul-- Thanks for the words of encouragement, I had to do a google search for Brian Froud, but I appreciate the comparison. Looks like he's had his hands in a lot of movies I like.

Anyways, I've starting blocking her out, and this is my progress so far.

I'd still appreciate some comments, and I'll keep the updates coming out.

ahh.. Love the handle for the blade....Not much that I can critize here, maybe the larger wings would make the character... such as one of the first posts had suggested... other than that.. keep hackin at it.
