Hi Folks, quick question. Is there a way to multiply select Named Selection sets for vertices? The manual says you can use the CTL key, but I can only get that to work for objects. Also, is there a quicker way to copy named selection sets from a morph target to a copy? I can do it one name selection at a time (using the copy/paste feature), but if you have a couple dozen it takes a bit of time. Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

As to the first question, I really don't know. But for copy/pasting selection sets across multiple objects quickly, I'd bet there's a way to script around this. I'll take a look at it tonight.

Say that is a bitch, and I am betting the short answer in NO, but I would not be suprised if this could be scripted (LFshade?), not easily (for me), but possible.

One back arseward approach would be to write a script that hides the verts of each sub set you choose (while the script is active), then (on button push) selects nothing, inverts that result and unhides all verts leaving you with the multi sub set that you could quickly input as a new name or even let the script handle that too.

Part two, similar answer.

Thanks for checking guys! I did find a script called SkinTools, but I haven't tried it yet. Found here:
