Rmortis 01-23-2003, 11:14 AM Hi, i am making my first complex(?) animation on 3d.
i have a problem when render , see animation please(my english is bad i cant speak well about the problem)
i have a noise bump map , 4 lights
i use max 4.0
the texture jump(?) it like sea...
its a wip animation, not very well, need a lot of work.

It looks like the bump map uses world coordinates. (World XYZ)
Try setting it to Object XYZ

Apply a UVW Map modifier and set it to "XYZ to UVW"
In the material editor go into the bump map channel, and in the "Coordinates" section change the "Mapping:" dropdown to "Explicit Map Channel".
Make sure the "Map channel" is set to the same number in the UVM Map modifier and the Material/map.

Try setting it to Object XYZ
That would only work if the object wasn't going to deform.

only more question

where put uvw modifier, after? ,before? the others modifiers..
for example shirt have poly, skin, flex and mesmoth , put uvw before poly?? i am doing a little animation for try this.

You can put it anywhere ,after poly in most cases works fine.
