I accidentally posted this in another section. I think it fits better here.

I just need some opinions as to how I should approach this project I am planning.

It is basically going to a be a tropical beach area. With the tropical water, trees, dunes etc. It can be a 'looking down the beach' view. Like trees and land on the left and the sand in the middle, going down to the water on the right.

Now it will probably be based in Fiji or similar type, because to be included is the Franjipani flower tree. That is a requirment.

Now to make this scene I have 3dsmax8, Vue5 and Photoshop at my disposal.

I wanted to know an aproach to this picture. Would I start with some terrain in 3dsmax then put it into Vue for rendering and Photoshop for touchups?

I am pretty new at Vue and I know thats pretty much the way to go with this, but as I said, I am pretty new to it.

Any tips are very appreciated.

Thanks.
