Title: Seamonster vs Gorgon
Name: Steven Miller
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop

This one just started as a speed paint, and developed from their. Anyway, I was trying some new techniques and such. Its my interpretation of a Gorgon and a Hydra like seamonster. I didn't use any reference or anything and wasn't trying to get a Mythological accurate version of any specific creature. I probably wont change anything else at this point, but would appreciate any crits for my next project. Thanks guys, hope you like it.

Hi!
I really like your style...
It's a good color choice...it makes this scene strange.
The seamonster and waves design are cool...
I have 2 small comments : the fact that the monster is cropped hurts me a bit ( I want to see more canvas space on the left) and maybe a little bit more work on the gorgon could be good (interaction with water, projections etc)
But these are not real crits, this is a good image!
Bye

Thanks for the crits. I hadn't thought of that being a problem, but I do see what you mean. I had quite a few crits on the composition, as far as the balance issues between the tail of the seamonster being in competition with the head. For some reason, it doesn't bother me, maybe Im biased since I drew it. (drew) is that right? Anyway thanks again.
