I made vacation in Greece (1985), saw a game of chess - the Middle Ages, bought the game of chess
The Chessgame-figures is corrodes, it gives it no longer
So i made it in blender

The Textur from table is taken by a foto
The Textur of the chessboard based on a foto to, but it needet some filter in gimp

My english is not the finest, isnt it ^^ , sorry

Its a nice overall scene, I think you could work a little more on the lighting or finishing touches in photoshop or something to set a deeper mood to it all. I also think the figures support should be rounder.

But its pretty nice keep up the good work

Your English is fine.
The Chess Set is very nice. We had a chess set challange on another site (Cinema4D only). If this was done with C4D it would have placed very well.

Shaders and lighting could use some tweaking but I like the design of those peaces
