Guys I just saw the movie Monster House and I loved it. and I tought it would be cool if you all could design your very own MONSTER HOUSE!

These are the rules:

You have 60 MN to do your sketch. IF you go beyond the assigned time limit , you have to post WHATEVER you have done after the time has expired, along with the FINAL drawing.
Post only your FINAL piece on this thread, based on the topic on the thread.
Only final pieces can be posted on the thread. They must have been done AFTER the topic has been announced.
RESOLUTION : The image can have any aspect ratio up to 800 x 600
They can be done on any medium.
If you wish, you can add a brief text description about your piece.
Only original compositions. No "tributes" or plagiarizing, unless is it an integral part of the challenge.
You can post an entry at anytime for the topic presented on this thead BEFORE the voting thread for THE WEEK has been posted.
The artist also has to post total length of time it took and program used.
Any piece caught breaking the rules will be taken off the thread.

(The author will be given credit). So guys keep them coming.
You can add multiple entries, but please dont post WIP (Unless you intend to update them).

You know that Pirates of the carribeans 2 just got released here. I didn't even know about the "monster house". Since they have to dub it, we probably won't have it before a few weeks... Well the fact the first cinema is 15kms away doesn't help either, I never go there anyway...

Hi all, first post for a while but i couldnt resist this title, specially since ive been reading the dark tower by stephen king and there's a scene where one of the characters has to escape from a ....yes a monsterhouse!
So this piece was slightly inpired by that, i even managed to shoehorn my custom 'ant brush' in there!
it took 1 hour on the nose and was done in photoshop.

Hello all.
Well i hadn't heard about the film (shame on me :rolleyes:), but after seeing the links I guess the sketch kinda fits anyway :D. But I ran short on time on this one, so this is it after 60 minutes although there's a lot missing yet.

I haven't done this before, but thought it would be a great way to de-rust my drawing hand!

55 min, possibly one of the oddest things I've ever drawn :) Thanks for viewing!

Hello everyone! This is my 'monster' of a house. More of just an old scary house, this one took me 20 minutes in Photoshop. I wish I had some more time to spend on the details, but maybe tomorrow for the next sketch!

Very nice sketches from everyone so far!

Well, here is my monster "house"...having lived in cities most of my life I always found tall buildings just so much more menacing....that and they can "eat" so many more people. wow.... an hour really goes by fast .... I am trying to improve my photoshop skills so i did it all there... it took exactly an hour .... ani i probably needed another one to make it look decent but here is the result anyways .... enjoy
