Hello,

I am in desperate need of help for tweaking the GI settings in C4D XL 7. Here is what I have been trying so far for last 3 days :(

I was using a HDRI mapped to a skydome, but the light was burning too hot through some windows, so I assigned separate HDRI mats to the window glazing, then put a render tag to hide the glazing from the camera. I could adjust the GI amount through the materials of each window unit then.

#2 shows where I started, I had a lot of light circles appearing.

#3 in increasing the min and max res got rid of the circles, but it is getting splotchy dark in areas now

#5 an increase in the Stoch samples gets rid of a lot of the dark splotches.

#6 in cranked the stoch up to 800 with a little improvement in the white circles.

#7 I up the accuracy, gets rid of the white circles, but it is getting dark and splotchy again.
