Do we have a Messiah Wiki?

It would be great if we all could pitch-in and make a wiki of our favorite software.

What do you guys think?

If the messiah wiki could have a description, a history, the people behind it, a filmography as well as a central repository for user knowledge, it could become the messiah docs we're all dreaming about - that's if people are willing to pitch in. Or wouldn't it be good to take it this far?

I think it'd be a good idea to move the current .chm help over into a Wiki-type web presence. I'm sure that'll anger the "I like to have printed help" people, but it would mean easier updates for PMG, and allow users to annotate the manual, particularly once Develop is released. We could also consolodate the Tips stickies here right into the manual as comments.

I'm not aware of anybody doing this in 3D, but that's what PHP and MySQL do, and I often find more useful information in the comments than the developer-written documentation on those sites. I'm willing to put some programming time into making it happen.

Hi, Ithink it´s a great idea, personaly, I prefer the pinted documents, this format is more comfortable for me because I´m allways travelling in the subway :D, but the web help system is better in 2 ways:

-Live content, growing dynamically, where all the users can publish their tips, tricks files and tutorials.

-Better proccess for PMG documentation updates.

How we do this?

Greets! :buttrock:

Besides documentaion (which we really need to work on...) the ability to post artworks would be awesome too

Maybe some of the users here can post tutorials, like how they do those fantastic SSS stuff (*wink, wink)... well some of us are dying to know.

Its like a 'By users, for users' kind of thing.

I'm all go for the ideas/suggestions mentioned above :bounce:
