View Full Version : Gods/Demons - Character - iatepaste
iatepaste 03-15-2002, 12:00 AM Here's a character that I've been enamored with for some time, a Githyanki. This is NOT my concept artwork btw. I didn't feel the need to redraw something that was already depicted so well. I do plan, however, on adding my own designs to it. Githyanki are outer planar creatures from the Astral Plane with psionic abilities. They are extremely war-like and have a great love of treasure/weapons. Yes, this is a D&D creature, I admit.
I'll post a pict of the model in progress by this eve.

Here's a little update. Hopefully I'll be able to move onto the legs and arms over the weekend and give them some muscle structure, etc. I'm hoping to go for a kind of wiry, boney, but bloated in places kind of look. We'll see...

Nice start the body has a nice smooth flow to it my kind of design. The wireframe doesn't look very heavy what method of modeling are you using nurbs or maybe patches?

Hey,
I seem to have lost my momentum and I've had some things come up so I'm bailing on this one. I still plan on completing it so I'll post it at a later date in the 3Dartwork area.
