obviously it isn't Very definef in the form details. I understand this very well ass 4 days is very little to put all that up.

I have been building a moto rig and I am curious to change ideas on how you will fix the suspension.

ALso Isn't it pain to get "reasonable looking and yet reasonable light to render" - geometry from Rhino. In my experience two pipeline with Rhino and Max isn't that great.

Anyway in animation rendertimes count.

It's good for 4 days of work. Just a note, the colors and graphics are obviously Suzuki, but a YZF R1 is a Yamaha. Fix the mapping so the graphics aren't bacwards on the flip side and you have a pretty good piece of work there!

damn, Tbonz beat me to it. I'm usually just a lurker, but sportbikes are my thing, so I gotta comment on the work here. The YZF R1 is Yamaha, so it'll save you some flamage if you remove that. (us Suzuki fans are VERY picky:))The only critique I have is that the pillion seat bit doesnt look right. If it's a race tail section, make it smooth. If not, show where the rear seat is supposed to go.

Oh, and that bit between the frame and crank case cover.... yer missing some engine bits, bro. :)

Thanks for all the C+C

I oney noticed that the logo was backwards after the rendering. Thanks for reminding me.

I will correct it as soon as possible after I get home from work.

The animation should be finished in July. I will post it by that time then.

I also found the seat not penfect. I will try to improue it.

By the way my english isn't very good. What is the crank case cover? Can you be more specific about the engine parts?

:)

It's difficult to believe you modeled this without references so please refer to them...

Notice that the rear brake rotor is much smaller and different in configuration than the fronts.

The rear chain sprocket is WAY too large. A bike with that gearing would be nearly impossible to ride, as it would be geared incredibly low.

The bottom sliders on the inverted forks are WAY too small in diameter, plus the shapes of the castings are all wrong.

The instruments are, again, completely off. Pics are easy to find of these details.

The rear shock is too small, and in general, the proportions of the various components are all incorrect in relation to one another.

Check the Yamaha website - they've got some profile view wallpaper images that you can overlay on a side view render and see for yourself where your sizing issues lie.

Sorry for the rough critique, but I'm very well acquainted with this particular vehicle.

thanks for your critique.
I did have some reference while building the model because I didn't know much about motorcycle.
Later I will post the reference images I used here. :)

Looks ok, but Danger is right its not perfect. The proportions are close but the details aren't very strong. It looks like you used a toy model as a reference. I have a die cast of my R1 that looks almost identical as your model. What I wanna know is, why do you have Suzuki on the sides? Its clearly a Yamaha R1. You should always use Ref when you can.

You can use my R1 for reference if you'd like.
