heh, great!
The mouse starts running on the wheel, the cord rolls up and switches teh fan on so the mouse gets blown into the box, right? :D
allthough i seriously doubt that the fan has enough force to do that :D
but anyways, it's very original

The mouse goes up the stairs. Starts running on the wheel, which must be well lubricated. The string starts winding up and then the cord gets stopped by the fan, the mouse keeps running, but the mouse keeps running and flys forward, hits whatever is hanging there and gets knocked out and tumbles into the box.
Truthfully looks good, though perspective seems kind of messed up, the wheel doesn't look round. Shadow looks good, but on some objects it looks like two shadows, others only one. The white can looks very detailed (rat poison?) but very white and stands out alot on my monitor.
I like it, i'd give you top honors for design.

You may need a taller box because I think the mouse you already caught is about to jump out!...heh. Nice idea.:)

Nice mouse-trap
The fan is switched on, and blows the mouse in the box, right?
Only thing that bothers me are the shadows... something just doesn't look smooth... try using soft shadows, I think it would look much much better!
Great scene, overall !

What i think is...the mouse gets on the wheel...then starts running.and eventually end up turning te fan on....so the wind forces him to jump on to the hanging cheese there....so as he jumps on the cheese...he turns around with the cheese and falls back on the stair case...thus he accomplishes his mission!:D
:scream: good design!
it looks more like the fan gets switched on, then the cheese could be the only thing the force of the wind could move... so i guess its just a tease cause then the cheese goes further away?!? hehe, very photorealistic

looks good, the only comment I have is that I think the cord coming from the fan is wraping the wrong way if the mouse walks on the wheel the wheel will spin to the opposite way the mouse walks. Thus the cord will unravel and the fan will not turn on, just reverse the wraping of the cord...I could be wrong...but anyway nice image:beer:

Thanks for all the replys and all the creative solutions for the construction :)
The fan should blow the mouse down the box ... its a 10000watt fan =)
Anyway, the shadows are bad i know... i've used multiple lightsources and i should have turned some of the shadows of on some of them ...
Berzerker75: The coord IS wrapped the wrong way.... damn thats a big miss from my side... embarrasing :)
