nice nice.... but here's my nitpick about what i think design is these days:

in my humble opinion, design is no longer about applying FX on various solid elements in an image ... filters are actually taboo for most designers these days. What this new idea stems from is the reductive abstraction that is remnant of the advent of cubist space, Piccasso, and work such as "composition" from that artist who I forgot his name ... anyh0w... it's a lot about reduction these days. Simplicity in generic geometric shapes with a certain level of integration such that no element is too disconnected from another and not too overdone. Apple Computer has followed this design model/scheme to produce a "genre" in design style. Their simple plastic buttons, warm hue color schemes, and consistency in design in both their corporate image and product line has given them a much stronger presence in the market. And your work is a good step in experimenting with filters, but overall, I think you would be better off refinding yourself to something more reduced, simpler, and elegant.... but anyway, that's just my humble opinion, most people don't listen to me anyway. So it's alright. :buttrock:

hmmmmmm....iteresting i think most of those images were good......my definition of design seems to be different......my definition is to communicate a thought or idea how ever posible.....some designers spend too much time tinking about what is in and what is in fashion and forget what the goal is....if the design works use it......designers of today have this in crowd mentallity what is funny it is when someone breaks out of the mode that every one else starts to copy instead of creating on thier own.....ok i am shutting up now
