CGTalk - Damn simple question!

Sorry for this stupid question, i reinstalled maya today and now i have somethin that i never had before, when i open the attribute editor, id opens next to my work window, iw want it to open as a floating window, not next to my maya workspace, i hope you know what i mean, i just want the attribute editor to be a floating window ik can drag and stuff not stuck necty to my workspace.!!

preferences > preferences > interface > open attr. editor in seperate window

maya 4.5 defaults it there, i dont like it there either.

... to waint for the whole view to refresh, just because you wanna get the attribute editor +]
