Title: Oops...
Name: Marco Unger
Country: Germany
Software: CINEMA 4D

This is a concept car that I created some time ago. I gave the body a cloth-tag (C4D-Clothilde) and pushed it against that concrete thingy. The effect is obvious and acts in quite a realistic way to simulate bending plate. The flying parts are largely 4-5 instanced objects emitted by a particle emitter.
I started this out of curiosity how the clothilde tag can be used to smash cars and the result turned out astoundingly positive. I hope you are at one with me about that :)

it doesn´t look correct by physics, but the effect is totally sweet ( strange word for this situation ). So powerful and huge !

Lol This is great! I love the look of the car being squashed :) I was just thinking along the lines of, "Man, car renders are so bland! Everyone makes a car and puts it on a street in a HDRI Sphere or against a white BG... What if I made a car run off a cliff or crash into something that'd be cool.", when I saw your render hahaha.

It must have taken you forever to build the model. I would love to see it animated when they get the animation part working for the portfolios.

What's that blurry/glowy thing on the left, infront of the wheel?

Nice work. Love the sunglasses. :D

Superb job - gotta love when a tool does something you would not think it would be set up for. The metal crumple looks great and all that ejecting debris is a great touch.

It looks great! And I kinda know how you did it, but HOW IN THE HELL did you get it to work on such a hi-poly model? To get that effect you mustve really pushed the stiffness.

Im really amazed !

I love it! Lots of people have mentioned the sunglasses, but what I particularly like about it is the way the headlights etc are shooting forward - as if the car's eyes are popping out!

Ooooh, painful!
