I'm making a basketball goal in blender and need help in making the glass part of my backboard give a reflection. I already have it transparent but I want the front face to give off a slight reflecting also. I can either make the glass transparent or give reflection but not both at the same time. Can anyone solve this puzzle. Thank you

In order to have a good looking class, you need to render with raytracing. That can be turned on in scene-page by clicking "Ray".
When you use raytracing you can adjust your material accordingly. Under shading page you have all your material settings. Check out the tab "Mirror transp" and turn on "ray mirror" and "ray transp". Adjust to your liking.
Hope this helps.

Look for a button named "SpecTra" on the Mirror Transparency tab of the shading buttons. It works for both Zbuffer and Raytracing transparencies.
