I've just watched a video from GNOMON about influence objects. In the tutorial, the vertices weights are transferred to the influence object, and then blendshapes are applyed for the desireable deformation. But what the video does no explain is what happens or what you have to do if, for any reason, the influence object must be deleted. Is there a way for the weight values to "return" to their vertices prior to the creation of the influences?
And finally, what advices could I have for joint deformations in a single mesh poly character?
