View Full Version : Looking to part with Foundation licence...
DorisDay 08-02-2006, 06:22 PM First off I assume I can transfer my licence to someone else???
If so then I would like to let it go as I'm moving my whole set up over to Mac & XSI is the only app I can't take with me (boot camp not an option)...
Would anyone be interested or have any ideas of the best place to advertise this as I would assume the majority here have it already...
Many thanks

You cannot transfer your foundation license, only essentials or advanced.

Really? Are you sure?

Well you are right:
Thank you for your interest in our products!
To answer your questions:
1- Yes, XSI Foundation is tied to one computer (see license agreement) and can only be installed on one machine - to install that same copy somewhere else you would need to uninstall the first copy.
2- You are right... XSI Foundation licenses are non-tranferrable, ie you cannot sell to a 3rd party. Any unauthorized sales will not be recognized by Softimage.
Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us - we are here to help.
Have a good day,
The Softimage Team

Ahhhhh, thanks for that, I wasn't sure if that was the case or not (guess I could have read my licence agreement in the first place :D )...
I will add it to the old software I no longer use pile...:bounce:
Thanks again guys...
