Its cute.. its very cute but it lacks weight.. I mean its an elephant.. you can keep alot of what you have and tweak some poses and fix the timing to help define the energy it takes to take steps forward especially after he stops.. elephants are like 18-wheelers, it takes alot of energy to get em going and a lot to get em to stop once they get going.. keep posting

Yeah it's a good start but I agree with Junerahe. The biggest thing that stands out about the weight is his body is hitting the low points the same time as the feet. Try having the feet land and the body offset hitting the low points 2-3 frames later as a starting point and work it from there.
You have a lot of details in there already, but you may want to consider holding off on all the ears and trunk, etc until those main points are really working well. Otherwise you end up doing them over and over whenever the body gets adjusted. I speak from MUCH experience in doing that... :)

i agree about blocking out the main body movements before going into detail, the details should be the last on the list-
i like the elephant but as people say he lacks cartoony weight- dont know if this is what you were going at
