Title: Lame Cyclopse Concept
Name: Turbanov Vladislav Dmitrievich
Country: Russia
Software: GIMP

Pre-concept was done with pencils and can be found on my homepage. Coloring was made in GIMP with 3 layers total(diffuse,hi-light,details .. ). This is my variation on a common "meat-wagon" topic. Would like to see Ur comments! Thank U.

Hi Turbanov Vladislav Dmitrievich,

I kind of like the concept. I think the bottom part of the body (from bottom of chest to legs) is neat, except the left foot you should work more on it I think (because it does not fit the general look of your drawing which is intended to look somehow realistic on the organic point of view). I find the right leg and the bandage thing really nice.
The upper part is not so good in my opinion: for example, the left arm muscle structure is not correct and kind of misleading (we do not see it as an arm at first glance). The chest could benefit a more better attention (anatomy and connection to the bottom part). The eye and mouth, I don't really like the way they're drawn. You could again, improve these parts. A more realistic eye could surely give much more life to your "creature". Appart from the big "horn", the right arm looks fine to me, unless this horn is actually not connected to the arm (is that the case), in which case you ned to modify your drawing. There's just one detail about the hand: its orientation could be a little bit corrected.

So what about the horn... connected or not to the arm?

hey! thx for the comment and corrections! that was just a fast 1hr concept without any concrete realizm intention. No, the horn is not connected to the arm.. it looks outrageous but it is supposed to be =)
