Keep in mind that this image is a compressed jpg and lacks much of the detail in the final print.

This is a layout for some of the pr and ad work that we want to incorp with our full textbook release.

sweet job, very detailed. you should sell this model, i'd buy it...but then again as soon as one person had it it would be everywhere on the internet. nice work.

looks good but you might want to have different angles in the 4 little pictures than just a cut out of the full picture

Cool
I have a feeling there is something that could be done to the upper body/chest, maybe add more details. Is it something weired with his eyes? Hard to tell.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Quik...yup, thats Hollow Man.

Risibility....exactly, this was created so that the textbook, and
software could be copyrighted and there would be zero risk of some other company using the same models to reproduce our content. All the current models out there are unacceptable in terms of quality when it comes to detailed anatomy in a textbook.

Hexodam....interesting, Ill check that out.

erikals....not sure what to say, remember this is an actual anatomical figure, to just add details would destroy the factual quality of the anatomy.

The detail is excelent, but his arms seem too skinny, his hands are sorta small and his chest is sticking out. I think his lats look sorta weak. The way I see it, if your gonna model the human body, you might as well model Arnold.

Again......thanks for the feedback.

ZeroSignal....one question: if I were to take your advice how many Proff's, Doctors and Universities would take my content seriously?

I would perhaps lose a bit of diffuse value on some of the muscle, and try to bring out the shapes a bit more. The bright brioght red flattens things

Also the marble base... no no no your model is so good, and that makes it look cheap nasty early 90s 3d work. somehting simple and tasteful in wood or dark colour

Hey BadDog, thanks for the crit.

The marble is already gone, replaced with an onyx shader. and Ill see what a drop in sat does. The only prob is that the jpg compression is killing the detail in the model and it also seems to over sat muscles.

The textbook layouts use 32bit TGA's in a 400dpi CMYK and the software will use 24bit PNG conversions, so I wont have problems with compression.

Thanks again.
