i think that two drawers done the 6 sketches
one use thiner line than the other...
1 and 6 are done with the "thin-line" style. :)
others (2,3,4,5) are done with the "thick-line" style. :)

For the challenge there is a Character per modeler!Like that are the rules!No?
But after the challenge, we will probably put them all in a NightClub, and if we find the time, make a short.
(We will put a thread in the 3d Artwork)It was not our intention at start but,as you all like it,we must and enjoy make it!
in this one, they will all dance dance dance on a crasy Loukoum dance!
the night club will look like hell,with stairs coming from the earth surface...with cages,and a strange bar and tables,but if someone have ideas or wants to design it (People who like doing backgrounds),he is welcomed!

hehehe, no I use around 3-4 hours each day at the evening\night. it's really MUCH better to work in the evening\night it's much faster and easier, at least for me :)

I love the arm and how close is to the skecth. Good job musketeer!.
You can now try to texture the nose.

hihi, more updates in a day then for 2 weeks by the musketeer-team :)
well, I got the permission to take over carny's character 2-3 days ago...
6-8 hours of work so far:

known bugs:
- the nose is really not squarish but it look's so on those renders due to bright backLight. I'll tweak it some more to...
- the glove is in stage 1, will add wrinkles and stuff to it later on.

will try to finish of the head and hands today, got alot of ppl in the house right now though so I can't work on it in the nights :( typical... but I'll do my best of course! :)

I would be glad to hear crits and commects about anything else but the "bugs" that looks weird to you :)

well, I reused and tweaked some parts from my first demon to, nothing to be ashame for ;)

skello: what a babe! :drool: I can see you didn't get much sleep yesterday :)
just some crits:
- the "tail end's" corner dosen't look right, might be better if you "merge" them.
- the tail, might look better if you add the bumps to it. it's a small detail but it adds alot.
- and finally the colors, they must be much stronger, brighter and colorful. that's a big deal when making cartoons :wip:
this is ofcourse just my personal view of it all, in the end it's up to you what you wan't to change and what you want to keep. but, (at least I) think it's pretty "fun" to get crits on my models sometime :)

WOHOO - i really love those NEW cartoon heroes :D

First i wanna say that the sketches (there are based on) are fantastic !!! I think the whole character of each creature comes from these sketches - without them they wouldn´t have that look: Great work !
Not to forget the great modellers :D They pushed the gang into 3D with motivation and all their energy... it was really teaching to see how the meshes change from update to update. And all the characteristic look from the sketches were perfectly transported to the third dimension.

hehe, I don't know about the musketeers but I probably won't have my models there for the final voting, it's not my kinda thing...
the fun part was the modeling process and getting feedback. I don't care about who's demon is the best or a little book from "New Riders" :)
but if the musketeers has decided to do something together (as neox mentioned), you may use my models to. I'm more looking forward to the little short the musketeers-team have in mind :)

I think he only needs small details like the hair and textures and few more fixes, but only I would like see a more detailled glove (with more folds and wrinkles :rolleyes: ).
