Title: Milos-An Italian policeman of the future
Name: Marco Fantechi
Country: Italy
Software: Lightwave 3D
Introducing my new character Milos, an Italian policeman of the future. Soon Milos will act with another character of mine (Alina) in a new illustration.
This is one of the final rendering of the character. I'm quite satisfied, but I think I'll make some little changes (i.e. the beard and the expression). What about it?

Very nice. I love the stylisation of his face. Almost realistic, but just stylised enough to make it intresting to look at.
I think his body looks a little plain in comparison though - especially the textures.
Great work overall though
Hey, this looks great!
Very cool style and execution. The face is very well done!
I do agree that the body could use some more definition...
Cheers.

...you've been prolific recently. :D
I love how your characters hover somewhere between caricature and real.
Great expression and excellent textures. And I really like the pistol design - very cool.
hmmm... yup. 5 stars!

Thanks fellows. Usual tips from you as usual!
rawwad: Thanks my friend! I like your words "good/bad guy" about the character. I was working to this kind of feeling...
mlynch: ...not so prolific if you think that these are results of one year of character design testing on personal project...thanks for your words: when you say "...between caricature and real" I thinks that I'm going in the right direction, because I'd like to achieve this kind of style...
living_for_cg: SSS! yes! I really wish it! I know that LW9, the new release of Lightwave, should have SSS...finally! As soon as I have it, I'll make some SSS test with this character! Thanks for your comment!
Edge: Thanks my friend. I think I'll make some changes on the body (mesh and textures)...
AndyH: Thanks Andy! You're righ: body needs more definition and quite different texturing. I'll work on it!
corneliu: Thanks! Maybe one day, I'll be able to make an animated short with these character...for now, just stills. Anyway, when I'll make the short, you'll be the first to nkow it!
Thanks again fellows; your comments push me to do better and give me strenght to do it!

Nice! promted me to look in your portfolio too. Nice character work. I think the armor needs something either gloss or weathering, to make it look a bit more interesting. But the character is excellent.
hey meducener, a new great character again ! even if armor needs work, love this stylish face and look. Great job, you've got my 4*.
It's very expressive work, but imho it needs some environment... and some work with materials, that seems now isn't realistic.

adib: Thanks for your comment and vote my friend!
Dann-O: Thanks! I think you're right about the body-armor, but I think I will not use gloss, because is a bullet-proof. Anyway I agree that it needs some improvements.
SweD: Thanks! I definitely have to change this armor! Thanks for your comments!
mp5: I agree about the materials (I have to improve it), but for this serie of characters I think I'll use a blank BG. I'll add environment when I'll make illustrations with them.
irananimator: Hi Hamed! Great to hear you again! Thanks for your words!
Milivoj-Lemonade3D: Thanks for your comment and vote!
JO-animator: Thanks my friend!
coochaki: Thanks mate!
