aplogies if this has already been posted but I though this was interesting:

"Every now and again something new in the computer graphics world will make your jaw drop like Maya's Paint Effects. Blender's LSCM and ABF uv unwrapping tools are another example. If a good proportion of your life is spent in front of Maya, texture mapping polygon meshes, then you should probably install this plugin and mel script."

I just try it quickly and find it really fast and powerfull. Mixing this tool with the unfold tool in maya and you can unwrap almost everything in a few second.

I get:

UVUnwrap;

// Error: Cannot find procedure "UVUnwrap". //

:shrug:

Never mind...I forgot to load it in the Plug-in Manager...I forgot it wasn't only a script...

Tried it!:eek: ...great tool!...you can't get any simpler than this!...select your edged and click unwrap!:thumbsup:

I got these results with 1 click:

Before this thread is expired I'd like to jump in and ask if anyone managed to get it working in 8.5?

Thanks in advance...
