View Full Version : ACS4 is missing 3 letter....
orijinel 01-21-2003, 11:14 PM Calling all mac users!!!! ACS4 is missing 3 letter "OSX"(LOL). I have not seen a plea for a mac osx port yet. Please help in the effort to port this excellent plug-in. I have my 90 dollars set aside already. So ACS4 developers that is $90.00 already.

I emailed Lukasz about a Mac version of ACS4 a few weeks ago when the plugin was announced, and this was his reply:
"Mac version is planned but we may have some troubles with it.
I hope to know more in a week. The $90 price will apply to Mac also.
Greetings,
Lukasz"
Hopefully we'll be seeing something soon....*fingers crossed*

I too emailed him and recieved a similar reply.... I am waiting..... eagerly. I love ACS3 and will settle if I have to. But, I'm looking forward to the OSX solution.. Have no fear there are plenty of us that have requested the port.
His inbox is probably flooded.....

that makes 4 of us.:)
I asked Lukasz about the OSX port here when it was announced, so he knows we are here anxiously waiting.
in the meantime you can keep using ACS3, but be aware that the LSCommander doesn't work properly under OSX and will freak out on you after the first use. To solve that problem I wrote an Apple Script that searches the preference file that LSCommander writes in your hd and throws it away then it launches LW. If you run the script before your next session ACS3 will work fine.
download the script here (http://www.motionblurstudio.com/downloads/angel_script.sit)

Hello Mac Guys,
You're right, I got a lot of requests from all of You wanting ACS4 for Mac. We're working on it but, as I don't have Mac this is a bit troublesome. If there is anyone who knows lscript and is willing to test bits of code please contact me at: pazur@polas.net
The main problem is Mac file and path support which I don't have any idea about...
Greetings,
Lukasz
