Hi all -
I work on a show where a lot of crazy stuff happens. This is one such instance:) Here's the backstory: a woman in a wheelchair has fallen down the stairs & is dead (or so we think). While here friends crowd around her, she has an out-of_body experience, where a vortex appears & starts to suck here into it. As the vortex is about to suck her in, these "tentrils of wispy smoke" wrap around her at the arms & waist & pull her out of harms way, and subsequently back into her body.
I have everything covered except the tendrils of smoke. Any suggestions? Splines as an emitter w/ a blend shape? geometry?
All suggestions welcome.
(ps Mark Wilkins, got your book & am chugging through it as fast as time allows. Pretty cool so far.)
