Hi guys,

I'm hoping someone can suggest a comp/flow here or even better a plug that can help me generate the below effect!

http://www.liquidm.com.au/vfx/fu/light_eg.jpg

The above link is a screen capture of the impact effect that i'm trying to build! The below link is the actual footage clip. I'm only interested in the actual 'on impact' affect ie above link and how i can build this and comp it into my scene!

Any help would be fantastic! (I'm using DF 4.04e but also have access to FU5 if this will make it easier to build).

Cheers,
Nick.

Hi - thanks for the suggestions. I used AE for a concept test to the client and now Fusion needs to build it into the production.

I ended up getting some nice results using particles from some guys over at pigsfly forum. cheers

Hey stevester..

The Trapcode version I have built in Fusion (did it in DF as well) on and pretty much got looking exactly like what I could achieve in AE with loads more control. However it is processor intensive which is a major bummer but the link below has the thread in addition with the post from Pablo to which you can see his comp/flow.

(I'm hoping it is ok to post threads from other forums here to share the knowledge).

Cheers,
Nick.
