View Full Version : Question on meshsmoothing the inner corner
yeman 07-29-2006, 07:42 PM Hi,
I'm trying to meshsmooth a poly object while keeping the round surface smooth and corners sharp. The outwards corners are fine, but I just couldn't get the inner corner to work. Thanks in advance for suggestions. I'm using Maya by the way~
Here are some examples.

Lose any tris u have, loop all the edges you have chamfered on the model all the way around, see if that works out.

I know you're a maya user but the theoretical sub-d thread in the max forum is worth reading http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=40373 maybe you could find a solution there?
