View Full Version : How to import Sound???
satchi 07-28-2006, 08:08 PM Hi, I'm relatively new to Maya (6.0) and I have been reading around that you can add sound to your work? I coulnd't exatly find anything and was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have a small animation of a human head mesh talking and would like to add in the sound (.wav) file.
Thanks.

Hi satchi
Well firstly, you are right, you can add sound to your Maya scene, either wav or iaff. Go to File > Import > options... file Import ,audio...Choose your wav...
Then Right click on your Time Slider > Sound > and, import your Wav...
Make sure in your animation preferances, your Timeline is set to play Realtime...
Ps. Good Luck with the lipsync...
Cheers
