For this challenge I want to model a satirus, the character of the greek mithology with the legs of goat and the litlle horns, but in a humoristic look. I´ll upload the design later.

I hope this time I could spend time on testing textures, render and animation.

i like the face, (comic-look), but i thing it need some demoniacal details ! i suppose it' s your idea too.

I´ve exaggerated his traits to look more "comic" (as Patrick say). I still have some work with the legs (I still I don't understand very well how a goat paw is) and put the ears.

I'm using this book as a reference for the base of my character challenge. It's been a savior for me. It'll give a great guideline to follow for hooved animals.

It's looking good so far, keep it coming.

I think this looks more like the greek semi-god Pan...the one that was half goat-half man, and sang from a flute....looks very good so far.

Thanks Sphere777. For the moment, I found this image in internet. I think a goat has the same skeleton structure for the leg than a horse, don't? I´ve made an skeleton for the character and started to animate it. I´ll upload something on monday. :bounce:

Vizion, you're right. In fact, the reference i used (up) is a Rubens drawing of Pan. He is in the greek mithology something like "the king of the satirus" , and he has the same look :rolleyes:
