View Full Version : Maxon's Mograph Example
Levvv 07-28-2006, 10:30 AM Hi everyone,
Could someone take a guess at how mograph was used to achieve this still on Maxon's website? All the faint phantom lines have me puzzled as it doesn't seem to be solid geometry all over...maybe some weird shader?

Any ideas much appreciated...

Hi Levv,
it was done using MoGraphs Cloner in linear mode and several step rotations. Inside of the Cloner was an arc spline clones several times. The nthe CLoner object was dropped inside of a loft-Nurbs object.
The shader was done using Transparency. In the Transparency channel there was a fresenel shader placed. The fresnel shader also was used in the color channel to get this overlayed color effect combined with the transparency.
I hope this helped you out just a little bit.
cheers
