Hi,

anyone out there that knows what options/plugins/techniques that are available for exporting to flash format, is the Illustrate! for Maya out? thanks in advance,

Inkworks Swiffworks is the only app that i know of that exports renders to .swf Just go to www.aliaswavefront.com for more info.

I have used it a bit but wasnt really satisfied with it.

Could someone post their opinions about it ??

what was good/bad ?
how were the filesizes afterwards ? good/bad ?

how did the result look like ??

hmm.. i'll have to try this... i know that illustrate is in the works
for maya... but who knows when that will be finished....

anyone know why swift3d has plugins for EVERYTHING BUT MAYA?!?!??!?!???!??!!??? i mean.. seriouslly.. max, lightwave, and xsi.... BUT NO MAYA?!?!

*sighs*

i'm asked myself that same question.


Somehow there are alot of Max , but none for Maya.

I hope it will change because of the (i think) growing usage of Maya.

The reason there is not Swift3D plug-in for Maya is that the fine folks at A|W won't help electric-rain develop it by giving them a copy of the software.

Seems like it would be in their best interests to help these guys out, but they won't do it.
