We are managing Sony Computer Entertainment's development recruitment in the UK. Their Cambridge Studio, renowned for action adventure games, has won major acclaim for past releases. They currently require a Senior Technical Environment Artist with excellent art and technical skills.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Maya and PhotoShop
- Excellent modelling and texturing skills, specialised in environment modelling
- At least 5 years of experience and at least 2 x published quality games
- Have worked with next gen. style graphics before (i.e. normal maps, shaders)
- Have an understanding of technical limitations of hardware, and how to push the limits of engines
- Be a good team player and have strong communication skills, to coach/manage a sub-group if necessary.
