View Full Version : To connect or not connect (for animation)
Im modeling a character (actually the same bear as to the left in my sig) But he is supposed to have a nightcap. Now what im wondering is: Should i connect the nightcap to his head? Or just link it to the biped underneath? The cap will have bones in it, (or maybe a flex modifier depending on what looks best).
what would you do?

Link it to the skull bone. It's the easiest and most flexible way of working.
i suspected that would be the way. Ill let you know how it turns out, thanks Iain!
