A couple quick questions if someone would be so kind as to help me out...

First, I'm very interested in purchasing VRay because we do a lot of interior visualization, in fact, that is pretty much all we do. But we also do this for a real-time environment though, so I must have the "render-to-texture" mode supported in 3ds max so I can bake out that wonderful rendered result.

I am a bit confused on something...ChaosGroup on their official website lists under "Extras" that "render-to-texture" is indeed supported. But I have attempted this on a friends machine who has v1.47.02 installed, Only the material would bake...the GI wouldn't bake along with it?

"Render-to-texture" is very important to me and if it doesn't work fully, VRay and any other suggested renderer would be useless to me. I really don't like the results of the default scanline radiosity in max, and Mental Ray gives me a headache with all the options.

What is the newest version out there that people are using of VRay? And is it supporting "render-to-texture"?
