So if i am selecting anything (vertex, edge, poly) nothing updates in the viewport unless it gets rotated, or moved..

This is quite frustrating to have to move all the time to find out if i'm selecting right..

I do know i enable an option with a key earlier today, but for the life of me I can't seem to find what I pressed in any of the options :(

Any clues?

It also doesnt work in any orthographic position, or perspective, or any camera.. But it works if one of my panels is in UV editor mode, it updates as it should..

This is just a guess, I use Maya 7 and it could be this:

Window > Settings/Preferences > Performance Settings
In the Dependancy Graph Evaluation box the selected setting should be "Refresh On Drag".

Yeah, i thought it would be a performance issue as well, but doesn't do the trick when i did that..

I'm going to try restarting maya, see if it does anything ~.~ (usually fixes weird issues in max when i restart it :) )

Update: Yep, did the trick. I guess restarting it overwrites whatever settings i've changed but not saved. That's good to know.

Ive some real weird issues with maya 7, working on a recent project I tried mirroring geometry and for the life of me I couldnt get it to mirror from the 0 origin, an old reboot and problem solved...
