Aaron Moore 01-21-2003, 04:57 AM Ok how in fricks world did i end up with bounding boxes around some of my objects?
How do I turn them off they are starting to annoy me...

Make sure they don't have keys set. Keyframes often create a bounding box around objects. If you scrub the time slider, do they go away? If so, they probably have keys. If they do, just get rid of them. If not, I'll get back to you.

they're called selection brackets and are [to me] one of the most annoying 'features' of max . . . I bound a hotkey to toggle them.
you can find them in customize/ui/keyboard
show selection brackets toggle
