hiya,
is there any way to speed up the cloud bonet-tool?
i'm painting the maps on a plant with 48 leaves (leafs?) - one single object. each leaf has three bones. as i paint on the maps for the different leaves, i hide the others with the polygon-selection.
the weighting of the mesh takes forever... is there any way to speed up claud bonet? i'm on a Macintosh Dual G4, 2x1GHz, 1 GByte RAM, NVidiaGForce4MX.
When I'm running cinema under OS X (10.2) it is so slow that there is no chance of having a usable workflow. it get's even worth when i turn on Open GL. it's a little bit better when running cinema under OS 9, but still not that good. am i doing something wrong? the mesh itself is not that heavy....
everything else is quite fast, even scenes with lots of polygone has a pretty fast scene-refreshment, but as soon as it goes to cloud bonet, it feels like, i'm driving with my parking-break still on. :(
