Hey all, I was just wonderring how reliable maya files are. Cause in the past, I've had problems with max files sometimes not loading thus having to save a bucketload of incremental files so that if one file gets corrupted, I can always go back to the last one without much lost work. Has anyone had problems like this with Maya?

TIA,

Cg.

I allways save many version os of files no amtter which program I use..unless the files are huge there is little reason not to. I have found that I sometimes get erros when opening a file and the solution is to quit the program and try again witha fresh launch.

I haven't had any data loss from a corrupted scene file since version 4 came out.
