Toilet after a Student Party (not for weak stomaches)

Interesting subject! Good modelling and texturing but it looks too clean still. Don't just make the toilet have a some splatters and a wrinkle fish floatingin it though, make it disgusting. Give it rust, urine spots, puke on the floor and side of the toilet, urine on the ground, tp strewn about. Then you will get people really thinking dirty. Keep it up and good luck.

The whole scene needs more specularity / reflection; everything seems to have a matte finish right now. Once you've fixed that, mask the reflections with a nice assortment of smudges, fingerprints, and the like. That should give you a nice base layer of ickiness to build up on.

lucky that i was drunk for 5 days :D free beer and food you know.

small update: tweaked light abit and the materials/textures. now im going to texture/dirt the toilet and add more stuff/props.

hmm... I think it could be even more dirty, especially the tiles on the walls. Maybe have dirt on the walls, and stickers or paint or something. I like the shadow of the guy standing there though. I also notice the toilet paper looks cell shaded or something wierd is going on.

Suggestions:

-Cigarette butts...almost always present in dirty bathrooms...both in the toilet and on the floor.

-General dirt/grime on the floor...possibly footprints in the dirt.

-Splatters on floor and wall.

-Paper of some sort: toilet paper pieces, pages from magazines, those little subscription cards from magazines.

-Dirty up the tank lid, crack a piece off of it, or lose it altogether.

-Soda/beer cans.

Looking good (er...bad? good? good in it's badness?) so far!

i would actually put some, umm, poop on the walls and floor, not sure how it would get there but i have seen it before. and if it is a male bathroom, more than likely there will be pee on the floor too. if it is a unisex bathroom, then make sure to put tampons and other female products in there too, and maybe a few used condoms? lol, oh man this will be funny. its looking great, cant wait to see what it will look like once it is finished.

Cool, now break some tiles, melt the cover, add some puke in the corners.
Add graffiti on the walls and the toilet roll should be wet and/or the paper splattered on the wall.

The basin(right word?) could have some yellow stains and add some grime between the tiles on the wall and floor.

I know it's a dumb work to do, but imo the tiles near and nearest camera should be modeled by hand, not only by displace/bumps . it shoud make v.big difference. also add some colour variety to them as well.

The rest is good but still the 'throne' is too white and I think you shoud add someting on the corners where walls are connecting to the ground.

@kacper yeah your right with those tiles near the camera but the problem is the deadline and still lots of stuff needs to be done. but maybe i will fix this after the deadline.

new update worked further on the walls and bump its getting there. toilet,walls,and ground are most important at this moment.

also played around in photoshop.

what do you think about the wall drawings ? i think it overrules abit but at the other side there are always many wall drawings in these kind of toilets.

I think that perhaps instead of actually having TP in the bathroom still on the roll ... have the TP strewn about all over stuck to things ... then, have the TP holder on the walll with no TP on it. And ... add some boogers on the wall. ;)

starting to shape up here man, the one thing I would reccomend is to think of what kind of maintenance that stall receives. Does someone come in there with a toothbrush and scrub out all the corners? Most likely not, That being said, I would put a whole lot of grunge and mildew all over the places like corners and seams in the walls. Places that the "cleaning crew" would jjust kind of skim over. I like the boot print on the floor, that's nice, You should do more of that sort of thing.

Very nice one, but one question, are you going to do a "before & afterparty" image?

But as an experienced toiletvisitor after student parties, i'd suggest dropping about 1/3 to 1/5 of a looroll in the toilet bowl, and severely staining the inside of the tiolet bowl, your cermics are way too clean for an old and used toilet.

The water in the bowl shoul dbe somehwat more brown yellow instead of clear (students don't flush :P)

Too "gritty" and not "messy" enough. Mold / mildew / graffiti genrally doesn't happen like that over night. A "part" in my epxirences will leave broken bottles dirty tolite papper, bottles, cans, stains on the wall, yellow urin puddles, possibly some stuck and dried to the seat dripping down, puke (black chunks of stomach lineing) , all over the place, semen and dirty clotheing isn't out of the question.

im going to dirt the toilet bowl more later and i have to look how im going to make the wet **** puke **** on the floor.

here start of the bottle its a bit overlighted but thats not a prob becouse its going to be in the toilet scene later.

You should try putting some "dookie" splatter on the inner part of the toilet. You'll know what I am talking about when you are taking an awesome shit after eating too much candy. (sick I know) And maybe some on the toilet seat so that no one would want to sit on it.

And I saw this at work, but some balls of shit in there too on the floor. That would have me barfing.

i would take the lower part of the toilet seat, not the cover, and rotate it slightly as if it has been broken off the bowl. you wouldnt need to model anything new and would look like a big fat lady had used the toilet!

Yeah buddy! now that's just nasty. My main comment at this point is that there arent enough bottles along that ledge. Also, to have some more different kinds of bottles would be helpful. Lookin nasty though. I think you could push the grunge and mildew even farther in the corners it could almost be fully overtaken.

Its still way to clean. Trust me, you need to use more yellow, allot more.

The toilet overall colour is still white. You only used brown to make a mess. If i pie, the colour i see is yellow. You should use allot more yellow, specialy on edges( at the hinge ). Its about the same colour as you used in the water.

And maybe some used toilet paper on the ground.

For the rest its really looking good.

oh and what Bo. said with making the toilet more yellow and discolored. think about those old toilets in gas stations that turn yellow near the edges.

other than that, i love this. i mean i can't sit and look at it for long periods of time, but it's just a funny concept especially since our old lab bathroom was yucky kinda like that and i really feel sorry for that guy walking in.

Where's the random pieces of wet tp stuck to the floor? Also needs some litter, hair, and misc. gunk collecting in the edges/corners.

If they had the barfing smiley here, that'd be a sign that your render is starting to have the intended effect. It's looking pretty gross as it is.

its been a while since i had a update but here is one.
updated some textures like wall and ground. made the toilet look a bit more older.

atm there is alot of noise in the render but ill fix that later. and some things on the ground are clipping through the ground. also fix that just some minor errors

Haha! It's come so far since the first post! Great work here. Only crit I have is the "dirt" on the inside of the toilet looks like scribbles in some places. Seems a little strange to me. Maybe go for that rusted stain look.
