CGTalk - Greebles tutorial?

I think they are called greebles? the detailling on space ships and such does anybody know a good tut how to make these greebles? prefrably for maya :d

They're also called Nurnies I think, so that's another thing to google for. There's some pretty good ones here (http://www.ap3d.com/betterspace/) for Lightwave, but the process will be mostly the same for Maya.

i believe 3D Studio Max has a maxscript for it..... I don't know of a script for Maya but it may have one as well.

Yes there is a plugin i found called Moogoo.. but it's pretty unstable and crashes maya allot :(
