hi , if i run maya he gives this error :

it makes me very mad , i trie to re-install and then i try to format my pc. nothing helps . but maya has run over a year.

anybody who recognise this error ?

Your preferences are corrupt. Move them out of your "My Documents" folder so maya will recreate new ones.

after lot of time searching for the problem i find it .

the problem was my video card a hercules 3d prophet 4000 xt.

interesting ... id suggest it was just a bung script lurking, likely from the net (or a prefs, shelf, etc that beaker suggest).
