Technical Artist

Technical artists should be proficient in Max or MEL scripting,
experience creating tools for 3d artists, and developing production pipeline workflows
Experience in creating advanced facial rigs and creating morph shapes
An understanding or skill of other aspects of production which include particles\modeling\advanced shaders
Experience in rendering pipelines using 1st or 3rd party render software. Examples of such software would be backburner or smedge.
Experience in providing support to other artists during a production, which may include debugging render problems, basic network support, animation or rig fixes, and other production unknowns.
Experience in rigging different types of creature or human rigs. Must have good sense of problem solving skills.
Must have the ability to learn other 3d software fairly quickly, and must be current with the latest technology.
IT networking knowledge is a plus. Linux knowledge not necessary, but would be a plus.
Must have anatomy knowledge, and at least basic animation skills.
Must have good communication skills, and must work well with leading teams technically.
Takes direction, possesses good team work and communication skills

Strong understanding of 3D Art production processes/pipelines

Must be able flexible to work within different styles of animation.
