Well it's really good if this is your first time with a head. Currently working on my first own 3d head... But this is looking really good. You could work a bit more on the texture though... And a wireframe would be nice too ;)

I think modeling needs work and you should concentrate on that first before moving on to texturing...
the corners of the mouth and the eyes is what stands out at first sight! The lower lip goes always underneeth the upper one and inside - they never go in together at the same time like in your model...
as for the eyes - it's the same thing - the lower lid is always underneath the upper one - it goes into the socket first and is covered by the upper lid - also there's more detail with the skin folds around the eyes + the whole tearduct area... try taking a closer look at photographs... you don't have to worry about lineflow first - just detatch the eye part from your model and concentrate on that without changing the borders so you can reattach it back later....
seeing the wireframe would help like the people before me mentioned :) Keep going, it's a good start :thumbsup:
