hey guys i just made this bouncing ball. is it just me or does the ball seem like it is bouncing itself across the screen? does anyone have any tips regarding how to make it seem more gravity powered? thanks.

check your curves... it seems to be moving at the same speed the whole time. add a little bit of speed on the way down and have it hang just a tiny bit at the top of the curve...also you need some squash and stretch to the ball. squash when it hits the floor and stretch as it goes up and down... just keeping working it, its coming along

I think your curves are what you need to work on the most. Try having just ONE key for every peak, for example, then just retouch the bezier curve (or handles) of each key. No need for 3-4 keys for each arc.
In the x-axis, imo, it should more of a slow-in as it arrives to the wall, then a sharp hit back, ending with a slow-in. Perhaps rolling to a complete stop. Maybe something like in the picture?

hey skyboy. thanks for the advice. one question on the curve picture. it seems that when it comes down, it lands higher than when it took off. is this correct?

nono.... the image I posted before is of (what I call) the x-axis. Or horizontal...like the Front view.
To fix your z, or vertical curves, I would add just one at peak of each bounce, playing with the bezier curves/handles to smooth it out
