View Full Version : Scribbles & Concepts
I thought I'd get my creativity flowing by starting a little thread for my visual ramblings. My goal is to time myself and see how much I can finish within 30 minutes to 1 hour. The faster the better since I have a very short attention span. :)
Here's the first:
30 minutes
Photoshop CS2
No ref, but yes I was playing Oblivion last week...

Hi there :)
Glad to see you wip thread here. I really like the colors you used for the waterfall. Are you working on any masterpiece ?
Thanks Kelandra, I'll be working on a masterpiece one of these days *heh heh* at the moment, I'm just getting my hands dirty.
Another quickie
1 hour on photoshop
I was going through old sketches I had on the hard drive, don't remember who this is or where I was at the time. It was probably at the park. :)

nice work. don't be afraid to push your contrast a little, everything's looking a tad bit flat at this point. Great work though, keep it up.
You're right on contrast, thanks. Maybe it's the setting on my tablet PC. The viewing angle's difficult. I'm always surprised how different it looks on my Sony LCD -- even under the same color profile.
My dragon queen... she just broke a nail.
1 Hour
Photoshop
I had a lot of fun with just one brush. Hope to get better.

I think I'm developing a love-hate relationship with this program.
I love it, but my PC hates it.

Nice stuff. I like the colors in the waterfall one, too. It looks like some of the water kind of disappears instead of hitting the lake, though; and they could use some [bigger] foamy splashes where they hit, I think.
