View Full Version : Can you Increase Vert size in the viewport?
Projectkmo 01-20-2003, 05:30 PM I'm toying with MPLE at work... and saddly my work machine has a crappy ATI card which is giving me tons of graphica issues... especialy in shaded mode.. But...worse yet, all the vertices are Microscopic..
I'm not sure, even if ther was an option in MPLE to increase the vert view size in the display would even help... but I thought I'd ask...if there is such an option..??

Sadly. I think you are out of luck. The verts are going to stay that way until you get a better card. Ati is about the worst card for Maya (the older one's are anyway). Oxygen cards are the best for Maya, even the cheapest one works great, but they are poor for gaming. The best tradeoff would be anything NVidia based. I had the same problem with PLE and bought a Oxygen VX1 (cheap) and the problems went away.
But, alas, this is a work computer, so you probably can't sure the problem. :annoyed:

Thanks dmcgrath
I was afraid of that.... oh well... I guess MPLE in Wire Frame mode is better than no 3d at all.....
I get microscopic Verts in Nendo on that machine too.... So far Wings 3D seems to be ok on it... but I'm a Maya guy so I'll suffer...till I get home to my good ole Nvidia based card = )
thanks again!
