Hi guys,

I'm pretty new to Maya and Zbrush. I just did a head into Maya and I'm wondering if I have enought details to switch into zbrush. I would like to have your opinion about that please because I'm not sure where to stop before switching software,

thanks
(I wanna do a realistic head)

I guess it all depends on personal preference.. if you look at the dvd of zack petroc: http://thegnomonworkshop.com/dvds/zpe01.html he wants to to keep the mesh superbasic so he is not limited to constraints in the mesh that is allready there. And clean up the topology later... Others build a really detailed mesh and do only the micro details in zbrush like pores and scars etc..
