CGTalk - VIZ 4 or MAX 5?

Hi, i was wondering which to choose, i mostly do Architectural visualizations, but i dont know if ,appart the animation, max 5 has something really good to justify the price difference?

Although not officially, the word is that VIZ4 will be terminated, probably due to further budget restrictions at autodesk.

I have a few strong indications for that :

-there is currently a special "migration" program running in europe to move VIZ4 users over to max5 at -50% price.

-All features originally intended for VIZ only are now also available for those max5 users that signed up for the "Subscription program"....

-My dealer could confirm he has been informed of the "end of life" of VIZ4

-I had that same info coming from (professional) people on IRC.

I think you don't have much choice anymore, unless you want to end up with a "dead" product...
